Returns | Exchanges

Our customers are at the heart of what we do and if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return, exchange unworn items in original undamaged packaging within 30 days of purchase. Any shipping fees associated with making returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

All returns and exchanges must be done within 30 days of the purchase date. There will be no exceptions.

CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE
Clearance and final sale items will be clearly labeled with prices ending in $.77 and in the item's description and may not be returned or exchanged.

RETURN REQUEST
When approved, any returned products with all packaging, original tags intact, and in re-sellable condition, will be refunded to the original payment method or given a Compassionate Closet online store credit, and will exclude shipping costs. If your order has been sent to a destination within the state of Colorado, all sales taxes will be refunded.

EXCHANGE REQUEST
For any item you wish to exchange within our 30 day policy, please submit your information in the form provided below; someone with our Customer Service desk will confirm availability of your desired item.

*We do not return/exchange items that have been washed, worn, ARE COVERED IN DOG OR CAT HAIR, or that have overwhelming smells (perfume, oils, etc.) These items are not in saleable condition.

The customer is responsible for all shipping fees back to The Compassionate Closet (unless the item is defective or we made an error in your shipment), and we will pay the shipping for the new item to be sent. This applies to all first exchanges in the US and Canada, shipping for any additional exchanges on the order are the customer’s responsibility.

We do not refund shipping costs for returned items, unless the item is defective.
At this time, we cannot cover the costs to re-send items on international orders. Shipping charges will be billed through PayPal via a "money request."

REFUNDS
Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. An email notification will be sent when the refund request has been reviewed and processed. If you return a gift, the purchaser will receive the refund in the original form of payment they used to make the purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear on your account. Please note; gift cards are only redeemable on this website and cannot be used at any public venue or special event. There are no refunds granted for gift cards purchases.

RETURN REQUEST FORM
Please indicate your reason for returning item(s) in the form provided below. A return authorization "RA" number will be emailed to you and that number is to be clearly marked on the outside of the returning envelope or box. Package the item(s) and the packing slip securely and affix a shipping label with our Compassionate Closet Returns Department address to the package.
